I lead partnerships at Marathon Fusion in San Francisco. Before moving to the US to study at Harvard Kennedy School, I spent three years working in British politics.

I’m also a non-resident fellow at the Centre for British Progress and the Oxford China Policy Lab.

Some things I think about:

• UK dynamism: I co-authored a paper on UK and US dynamism, and how Britain can become more prosperous.
• Indonesia: I received an Emergent Ventures grant to study Indonesia, and went back for a project on its industrial policy.
• Foreign policy: I write occasionally on the relationship between the UK's economic power and its capacity to act.
